History

Birth and first developments of record production

The birth of CLM traces back to the mid-1950s with the arrival of Giovanni Radrizzani. The production of rims and wheels, ranging from 4" to 10", was the first activity initiated by Giovanni and Antonia Radrizzani. In a small workshop at Piazza Repubblica in the center of Uboldo. Since then, the production of these rims has been ongoing.
With the move to the current headquarters in Uboldo, and the start of axle production, the production of rims and wheels also moved along with the transfer. The availability of space facilitated an increasingly rapid development of rims and wheels production.

1987

By the mid-1980s, the European market for small wheels underwent a revolution, with the introduction of low-cost tyres from China and other Asian countries. This change laid the groundwork for the partnership between Giovanni Radrizzani and SOCAH, one of the leading tyre importers in the European market. The collaboration between the two companies generated a rapid acceleration of Radrizzani'sturnover and disc production, pushing him to invest in a new warehouse, that being Italruote. This allowed the production of discs to be separated from that of axles, facilitating increasingly rapid growth for Italruote.

1996

The need for more space for both the production of rims and axles, combined with the lack of warehouses in the area, led the managers of what now was known to be ADR, to make a drastic decision: to transfer production to San Pietro al Natisone, where it was possible to purchase a warehouse with adjoining building land. At the same time of this transfer, the company took the name of CLM, but maintaining the Italruotebrand, which was now known throughout the world.

The Modern Era: The Twentieth Century
At the beginning of the twentieth century, thanks to the availability of larger spaces, production increased significantly with the introduction of fully automated lines. In addition to the manufacturing of discs, the ability to offer complete wheels with tires was added, ensuring extensive stock availability to meet diverse needs. The assemblies, carried out entirely automatically, ensure maximum efficiency and quality.

Present and future

The availability of building space allowed us to build a new warehouse and make further progress towards, improving our customer service. We can now carry out tyre fitting, offering customers complete wheels with tyres. In the new hall, we have established a warehouse for tyre storage, a central area equipped with fully automatic tyre assembly lines and dimensional control lines. There is also a separate area for storing and shipping complete wheels. This allows us to offer a complete service to our customers.
